A close friend turned
forty and we decided
to celebrate the occa-
sion with a commemo-
rative card. This was
offset printed and sent
to 200 friends and
family. It’s a combina-
tion of pieces from
several sources. The
figure art was produced
over several years by
her daughter, and
scanned, assembled,
and colorized in Photo-
shop. The blue side is a
collage of photos from
the celebrant’s life,
with poems by and
about her.
