This brochure discusses
heart disease, surgical
procedures, and recov-
ery. The text is complex
and thorough. To make
it more patient-friendly,
we added various pieces
of art: illustrations,
photos of staff at work,
and heart-shaped
antiques. The research
for this last category
turned up a Raggedy
Ann doll with a heart
on her chest which we
were able to use to
illustrate heart
trauma.
