Rubars Frames was
a small, single-owner
business marketing to
a narrow audience of
painters. It began as a
storefront operation in
Oakland, California,
but wanted to expand
nationally via the
Internet. We developed
a logo that would
suggest craftsmanship,
and precision, while
holding up well in
print, on the Internet,
and as a rubber stamp
on the frames they
built. We introduced
“handcrafted” to the
logo to emphasize their
craftsmanship.
